Amazing Product! And perfect amount of steam
I read the reviews after I purchased and was very worried because of a number of negative reviews but I got a brand new product and itâs AMAZING! I also couldn’t find the sample pack at first but it was in between the pages of the manual.
A few notes:
Thereâs not a ton of steam but it is still very effective and gets quite hot.
**THE AMOUNT OF STEAM IS THE PERFECT AMOUNT!*** The face enclosure is tiny and gets hot with the small amount of steam that does come out. if more steam came out, everyoneâs face would literally get burned lol.
I rest my face in the mask area and donât breathe super heavy and it warms/fogs up quickly and then I breathe it in. It helped me a ton with my sinuses and dry eyes.
I highly recommend!

Works great!
Like someone else had mentioned, I didn’t read the reviews until after I ordered. I kept an open mind but knowing it might not live up to the hype, but boy did it. Works great. It clears your sinuses right up. I initially wanted it for a cough but then my cold turned into a head cold. Breathing in the steam made me cough but it was a productive cough, where prior to using it, it was a very dry cough.
The only issue I had was getting the mask back on the steamer. It doesn’t fit just right, like I expected it to snap into place but it took some work. Not enough to take any stars off though.

Not as bad as the recent reviews would have you believe
I didn’t see all the negative recent reviews until after I received and used this so I’ll add my two cents.
I rarely get sick but came down with a sinus infection and ordered this after having it in a wishlist and debating it for months. I like vick’s vaporub but hate actually putting it on my skin, so thought this would be a good alternative. Here are my thoughts.
Pros:
– produces a nice, adequate amount of warm steam that is soothing on a dry throat or stuffy sinuses (people complaining that there isn’t enough steam perhaps haven’t considered that if there were plumes of visible steam coming out of this thing it’d scald your face off).
– heats up relatively quickly and is easy to use
– can double as a facial steamer
Cons:
– it’s corded, so not very portable. relatively minor, but still an inconvenience. I hadn’t considered this when I purchased.
– the unit gets pretty hot while running (nitpicky, but you’d want to be careful when a child is using it so they hold it in the right spot)
– the vapo pads are advertised to last up to 8 hours in a vick’s humidifier but there is no way to keep them from drying out between uses of the vaporizer to get the same longevity out of them. It’d be nice if they came in a small, resealable pouch, especially considering how pricey they are
Other observations:
– a few reviews I saw mentioned not being able to get the mouth piece back on in subsequent uses. I suspect this may be because they removed it while it was still warm, and because it’s a soft plastic, it shrunk a bit as it cooled. Because of this, I have refrained from removing the mask portion until the unit has cooled, just in case.
– I waited until this went on sale at $30 to scoop it up. It seems to get discounted fairly regularly, with $36 being the most common discounted price I saw while I had this on my wishlist. I still think that’s a bit pricey for what it is, but as far as I can tell, it’s the cheapest option for products in this class. If you want to save money and are ok not having warmth and moisture, the VapoInhaler will get you similar results at a fraction of the price.

Good project
I often get a dry nose and nosebleeds in the winter, so I was looking for something small and portable to help. I wasnât sure what to expect when I ordered the Vicks Steam Inhaler, especially since I was used to inhaling steam from a pot. At first, I was a bit underwhelmed, but after using it a few times, I really started to appreciate it.
Pros:
⢠Convenient and easy to use: Just add water, turn it on, and go about doing other things. The steam takes about 6 minutes to start.
⢠Reusable water: You can reuse the leftover water for multiple sessions (usually about 2 uses before you need to refill).
⢠Compact and portable: Small and light, making it perfect for travel or use at home.
Cons:
⢠Expensive Vicks strips: The Vicks pads are pricey, and you canât use essential oils or anything else in the unit, as it could damage the product.
Hack: I found a workaroundâusing a cotton ball with a couple of drops of peppermint oil. It works perfectly, and Iâm hoping it wonât harm the steamer.
Overall, this was a much-needed purchase, and Iâm really happy with the results. Itâs been a great help in alleviating my winter dryness and congestion.

Es una maravilla! No es necesario comprar un humidificador que estropearÃa tus alfombras o pisos de madera. Excelente compra.

Product looks good for kid or child below 10 years. Safe to use for them. As stream is not in that high flow kids can use safely and inhale without issue.
Not suitable for adults as the steam is not sufficient for them.
