    Very Impressive Cookware
This is my first stainless steel cookware set, and I did some research before I started cooking. This set is very nice and comfortable when cooking. Very durable to high heat and clean up was easy. There were no hot spots and my chicken came out cooked evenly.I used these tips when searing my chicken and this should be done when using stainless steel:-Wash your cookware before using with a detergent that doesn’t have citrus in it. No lemon fresh Dawn. Just use regular dish detergent.-Heat your pan for 2 minutes before adding oil or food. You have to take it from cold to hot before adding oil. Or your food will stick. Use low to medium heat. Check with some drops of water to see if they bead up. Then you’re ready to cook.-Fat and Butter is Stainless Steel’s best friend. After heating your pan for 2 minutes use Avocado or Grapeseed oil to make cooking surface non stick, not Olive oil or regular butter. Olive oil and butter are not durable fats and oils to sustain the heat in stainless steel, but they are for non stick. Avocado and Grapeseed oil burns slower on high heat.-You can tell when you heat is too high if your oil starts drying out. Add a splash more during cooking.-Turn the heat down some when cooking. You only need the higher heat to get the pan hot. Once hot, you can reduce heat. Stainless steel is not like nonstick. It’s very different. If your food burns, you had your pan too hot or you used the wrong oil or not enough oil. Towards the end of cooking you can add your butter because you should have had time to lower the temperature. Just don’t add butter at the beginning.-When you take your meat out of the pan to rest, let your pan cool for a few minutes and then wash while meat is resting. Perfect time to wash cookware! Wash in warm to hot water. Cold water will make hot stainless steel warp. Use gentle detergent. I also used the soft side of Scrub Daddy because it’s gentle to stainless steel. If you have tougher stains, use Brillo or SOS pads.-Dry your cookware immediately after washing to preserve the finish.Additional tip:Brillo pads are good to clean stainless steel. Don’t be afraid to use Brillo or SOS. It even says so on the box.

    Great Set
I got this Cuisinart 11-Piece Cookware Set to replace my aging, 25-year-old All Clad set that has really served me very well. I was pleasantly surprised at a number of features that this set has at this price point.PROS: – Beautiful finish looks nice. The mirrorlike polished finish is ultra smooth. – Aluminum base that is wrapped in stainless steel heats up quickly and evenly distributes heat. – Handles and riveting feel sturdy; connection to pots and pans is very secure. Pan handles stay cool to the touch. The groove running the length of the pan handle helps to steady the pan and keep it from rotating, especially when pouring (thumb can be pressed in groove). – Tempered glass tops are great to watch food cook on the stove top. – Cooks food very well; even heat distribution and enough mass so that the heat doesn’t drop too much when adding items to the pots/pans. – Easy to clean up, like most stainless items.CONS: – The set, ‘feels’, significantly lighter than my previous set and the side walls of the pots and pans are noticeably thinner. This thinness will cause the side walls to heat and cool more quickly than a pot or pan that has thicker side walls. Temperature variances can be the difference between being a really good cook or a great cook. – The beautiful mirrored finish is sure to become scratched and dull over time. The sets with brushed finishes seem to hide scratches and wear better over time. For the great value that this set offers, it is hard to complain about anything. This set is really good and I will be happy with this for years to come.

You must not know how to cook..
These are great for the price..I have not had an issue..after reading the initial reviews about how bad these were and how after first use the pans had discoloration I had some reservations about buying them. After reading how there made and how the heat distribution worked I figured those people had the heat turned up too much. I’ve cooked eggs(scrambled, omelets)steak, burgers chicken..they still look brand new. Highly recommend if your smart enough to know how to cook…but if you don’t, just buy the cheap ones. You’re more than likely to complain either way.

    Worth the price
Beautiful finish, HEAVY, good selection of sizes, and have been in constant rotation since my purchase. But be WARNED!…the lid handles WILL burn your hand if you don’t use a mitt/holder! The pot handles don’t get hot, but those lids…be careful! Also, after 2 weeks of use, a small dark stain appeared on the inside of the bottom of one pan; I thought it was a burn/food stain, but it’s actually a discoloration of the metal.Hmmm, what’s up Cuisinart?!

    Quality worth the price
This set was worth the price. Slowly making the switch from non-stick to better alternatives like this stainless steel set and it holds up great! The material is strong, durable, and easy to keep clean. I’m still having to adjust how to cook though. Food can stick, but I know I need to learn how to heat with this type after 5839292 years of only cooking with non-stick. YouTube to the rescue!

    Works for me.
This 11 piece set is very good as my every day cookware. It’s much lighter than my All Clad Copper Core set but still performs well. As a snowbird I’m on propane with a Duxtop induction burner here. The thinner set heats quickly and distributes heat across the bottom of the pan well. Induction hot spots are managable with proper preheat when frying.A word of caution, don’t throw salt in your pasta water. Instead take out some hot water, dissolve the salt and add water back in. The chlorides in the salt will leave marks in the bottom of the pot.Overall very happy.

Have used all the pots and pans multiple times in the week since they’ve arrived. Great quality and retains a clean steel look even after a couple of egg-induced disasters. So glad I switched from nonstick.Just remember to preheat, then add oil, then cook. And dissolve salt well so it doesn’t stain as it heats up. If food gets charred, just soak it in boiling water for 15-30 minutes and it’ll come off quite easily.
